COORDINATION

The main responsibilities of the evening for you are the rehearsal with the cast, directing the ceremony, and then designing and coordinating the staged exit. That way, guests and vendors get to see that you can pull off logistics but you'll be free to meet with guests during the event.

The Production Manager will kick off the ceremony with a welcome speech, however, since much of your contribution to the event is done behind the scenes, you are welcome to jump on the microphone at the end of the ceremony with a quick introduction and description of your services. If you are interested in this, be sure to connect with your Production Manager to discuss this in more detail!

The Production Manager handles all of the logistics during the event so feel free to relax and chat with couples. They’ll come to get you when it's time to start getting the exit together. Sometimes venues have rules about what can be used (sparklers, glitter, etc.). The Production Manager has this information so be sure that you're clear on what you can and can't use. The photos taken here are an awesome thing to put on your website, so keep that in mind as you plan! We have included some examples of previous "exits" below for your reference.

Some day-of coordinators opt to design two tablescapes as a part of their participation in the event. If you choose this option, we encourage you to pop over to the Design, Florals + Vintage Rentals Page to read more about using your inspiration board, what to provide, our policy on using outside vendors, photos and more.
