The Photos + Video
The amazing companies that documented the event aim to edit and deliver the photos within one week and the video within two weeks of the event. We will send you all a link to the Dropbox folders once they are ready so that you may download the images.
The photos will be published on a national wedding blog, so we ask that out of respect for the blog’s exclusivity policy, you DO NOT publish these until we give you the go ahead. We will post a sneak peek or two on Instagram and we encourage you to share that, but we will all need to wait until the day of the national blog’s post to all share the images together. We will let you know the publish date as soon as we receive confirmation. We cannot promise that each vendor will be highlighted on this blog post, however, as the content is left up to the staff of this third-party blog.
We will post photos on The Big Fake Wedding’s Facebook page, Instagram, and blog once the national wedding blog post goes live. We will credit each photographer and link to the event’s web page, and we encourage you to comment and share! Please be sure to credit the photographers when you share the images, and you can find the vendor credits on the event’s webpage.
After the national blog coverage is published, The Big Fake Wedding will also submit all event footage to the local and regional media partners for your event. Vendors may choose to submit event photos for publication elsewhere, but must abide by the 90-day wait period to share with competing national wedding blogs.
Vendors will be provided with links to view and download the watermarked images. If a photographer doesn't provide a watermarked set, we will share their unwatermarked set with the vendors. We ask that everyone is diligent in properly crediting each photographer!
Images will be roughly 900px wide. Once the photos have been released by our national blog partner, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to use these (properly credited) images on your website, social media, advertising campaigns, etc. If you need a specific photo for print purposes that is high-res and/or unwatermarked, we encourage you to ask the photographer individually if they would like to provide the image in exchange for crediting.
